I know it's the Holiday's now, (Happy Holidays to everyone!!!) but just wondering if there's anyone else around the Twin Cities interested in a Pleo meet-up? Littlefoot and Aladar tell me they'd like to meet other pleos :D

I live near the twin cities! We should all have a social "pleo" gathering!

Just a reminder not to give out any Personally Identifying Information in the forums. This would include full names, phone numbers, addresses, city, identifying landmarks, etc.

Please help us to keep our younger members safe! :D

Thanks for the heads up Pleoworldhostcami. Is mentioning the Twin Cities being too specific? The Twin Cities itself of course is composed of the cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, but also has numerous surrounding suburbs which are usually considered part of the "metro area." Estimated population I believe around 2.8 or 2.9 million collectively.

I think they should have a pleo "meet" at a place like sharper image. Then its not only safe, but fun!

Hmm the Sharper Image might be not enough space, because they don't really have any open areas or tables to sit at, but perhaps a public eating place like the food court at the Mall of America?

I accidently mistakened the Twin Cities as the Twin Towers.

If you contact Sharper image, they may clear a small area for you in their store. Since they sell Pleos, having a little Pleo meeting there might be some good free advertising. You never know.
Way back When the Aibo ERS 210's were released, Sony had a little meeting of sorts at a Shaper Image store in Boston. Why not contact a local SI store if you have one and see what they say. The worst thing they could say is no, but they may just be very accomodating.

There are two Sharper Image stores in Minnesota. One is in the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes in Maple Grove, and the other is in the Mall of America in Bloomington.

I'm Game! I know my little Penny wants to see some of her siblings and cousins.

I think the Mall of America a little further after the Holiday shopping frenzie has died would be a great idea. There are a few areas near the south food court with tons of open space (like the second floor directly below the food court), and it's still public enough that no one should feel unsafe.

If people are really set on SI instead, there is a fair sized one in the MOA.

Anyone else dieing to buy their Pleo a dog purse? :D

I know the Mall of America must be crazy now, probably well into January. (It's ALWAYS crazy on the weekends that I've ever gone there. Usually I try to go there on a weekday instead of the weekends because it's less packed). But the food court does sound like a good place, lots of tables for the pleos to walk on (might not want them walking on the floors because of the foot traffic). The Sharper Image in the Mall of America is also bigger than the one in Maple Grove (I've been to both).
