... i'm almost embarrassed to say that i got two of them. <gulp!> i'm curious as heck to start them up, and i'm debating to hatch them simulataneously or several hours apart. should I go for the simultaneous approach?? (and if i do hatch them several hours apart, i'll make sure the firstborn is present when his little sibling wakes up!). thx!

I got two for my 8 and 10 year old daughters and they arrived yesterday. We hatched them within about 1/2 a second of each other. In some ways they were at similar stages, but they definitely do different things. So far they are enjoying them a lot, I'll be interested in seeing how behavior develops.

OK so I originally got two pleos with the intention to be able to have them interact and play with each other at the same time, but I find in reality what I typically do is charge the two batteries while I'm at work, and when I come home, instead of playing with them both together at the same time (which would be about 1-1.5 hours playtime), I like to play with each one individually one at a time so that I will have 2-3 hours total playtime before the batteries are both drained and thus require recharging again. It was fun to see them interacting when I did have them both going at the same time, but it's also twice the work to be constantly petting and touching each one to make sure neither of them conks out! (P.S. Ugobe please hear our overwhelming suggestion in another thread to get rid of pleo's narcolepsy or at the very least give the user the choice as to override it or not!).
Maybe when Ugobe comes out with extra batteries, I would be able to have them running more often at the same time, but for now I find playing with them individually is more satisfying. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Why not only raise them individually but also treat them different? Turn one into a cuddly Pleo and the other one into an explorer type (I mean, watch it interacting with its environment instead of entertaining it). It could be interesting to see two differently raised Pleos together.
