The UGOBE team is thrilled that people want to start local Pleo meet-ups...this has always been one of our big dreams. We know you’ll have a great time introducing your Pleos to each other and hatching plans for projects, funny Pleo parades and who knows what else!
We are looking into creating a centralized place for Pleo meet-up information on PleoWorld.com, but for now, we ask that community members organize all real-life Pleo events with a service like Meetup.com or Upcoming.org, rather than using the PleoWorld Forums. These sites are especially designed to help get the word out about events and handle RSVPs. You can link to your event page from the Forums to get the word out.
We know you’ve heard this before but it always bears repeating: please use your common sense when planning or attending a real-world meetup. Don’t post your full name, personal address or phone number to public forums on the Internet. Hold your events in safe and public places.
