Why would one speaker be in the rear? Isn't that kind of odd? Vocal sounds from the rear? Just curious.
Can't wait for October!

But what if you need more than just the vocal sounds? Bio emmisions? :)
Actually, I'm curious about that one myself.

Hmmm zooropa I'm thinking of the toots and honks from the rear speaker are simulated natural rear emissions. You know you might not want to feed Pleo any kind of legume. :D

I hope he farts hahahaha! that'll be fun. Not too much thoug but from time to time or once in while hahahaha.
I think pleo Sounds... Are superb to any other robot-or toy including aibo... i think pleo has more sounds and it seems it belongs to the same pet. witch it makes him more natural.
**** I hope you will be able to add sounds to his steps. So when he walks you hear something and be able to turn it on or off uising the software.:D

Yes, "natural" sounds do come out of his back end speaker.
And I'm sure he can be programmed to make sounds when he walks. I can picture load thumps with each footstep so that it sounds like a much larger dinosaur coming down the hall... Or even squeaks with each footstep as if her were wearing bad shoes. My favorite I hope to do is choreograph front leg movements to go with tapping sound to emulate tap dancing... :D
