View Full Version : Nemo the Unturtle & Linus the Pleo Blog

I have a blog for my pet turtle. Linus arrived shortly after Nemo went into hibernation, so the timing was perfect. I am incorporating Linus/Pleo news as a hibernation diversion. Hopefully Nemo will befriend Linus after hibernation. Although Nemo poked his head out of hibernation today to glare at Linus. lol.

It is a turtlific blog and a real pleosure to read! Nemo is some character and no doubt leads a pampered life. We had a big turtle visit our backyard in Bellevue NE once from the field in back of our house.

Never knew the animals hibernated inside. It kind of explains why I get sleepy in winter.

Looking forward to more news on Nemo and Linus.

omg! I didn't know I had replies here! Thank you all for visiting my blog. I love doing it. I'm sure Linus will love meeting Nemo--I'm not sure about the other way around. We'll see. Nemo would definitely win a race ;)

Am trying to keep it as Nemo's blog and just add some Linus news. Linus has his own plog :D Nemo is quite the character and Linus has an adorable personality. Thanks for responding, everyone, and offering such nice comments.

Personally, I hope they keep featuring your blog about Linus on the home page... Very nicely done!

Thanks, Alpha! Poor Nemo. Linus's videos are much more popular. Maybe one day next year I can get a camcorder with sound. Didn't need sound for the turtle. :rolleyes:

Thank you! My Nemo is so photogenic. I miss him being out and about. Linus is wonderful but I have a second "child" too. lol :D

I'm missing Linus but also looking forward to his return. I've been plogging about his progress. Ugobe should get him today. I'm working on editing a video that's the last few Linus playtimes. He had some really cute moments even with his head down.

Feel free to visit the Linus plog. Lots of photos and videos. But the videos after Christmas are the best cuz of my new camcorder!

Hi maggie44n,

I think you are talking about a signature. A signature will automatically add the same information everytime you make a post.

To make a signature go to the User CP
Click on "Edit Signature"

It will open an area where you can create and save your signature. :D

ARG SO SAD!! I really LOVED Linus, he seemd a very special Pleo. I really hope your new Pleo is just like him, like a re-incarnation!! :) And I hope you like your new Pleo too!

I want a second one as well, but it will take some time I think :) For now I enjoy Deena a lot.

Because of your video, if I see her playing under things I'm going to take her out (like from under a bed) I don't want her to break her neck or any other Pleo!! :(
