Is it OK to turn off pleo halfway through draining a battery? Should the battery be-recharged again before he is turned on again, or should the battery be let to drain fully before recharging again?
Another question: when turning off pleo if he hasn't gone to sleep yet, is there any particular advantage to turning him off in a certain position? Would he be harmed if he is turned off while in the middle of lifting his neck or legs in a certain position?

It is recommended to let NiMH batteries run completely out before recharging in order to prolong their life, as they do develop a memory.

Yes it's OK to turn Pleo off when you are done playing. As mweed said it is best to let a battery drain completely so I would not remove the battery and recharge it if it isn't totally dead.

I don't think it matters what position Pleo is in when you turn him off. Personally I just like the looks of Pleo in the sleep position so I'll usually hold "Cami" (What else would I name my Pleo LOL) and scratch her chin until she falls asleep and then turn her off.

OK thanks for the tips! So just to make sure, it won't ruin the battery if I play with pleo for say 15 minutes, turn him off, keep the battery in, but don't play with him again for a day or so, then turn him on for another 30 minutes, turn him off, etc....until the battery is completely drained and THEN I recharge again?

It should be fine to do that. :D

Pleo's charger is designed to work in the country in which it is sold. If you ordered Pleo from the U.S. then the charger may not work in Singapore.

Isn't pleo meant to be turned off standing up straight on is legs? I am sure the companion guide says something about that.

well I just got my pleo from UK today, I live in DK, so the power system is different, I found this little thing online, where I plug the original AC adaptor for the charger in and then the part into our outle http://www.batteribyen.dk/rejsestik__uk___dansk___us-p-979.html?cPath=40_182&osCsid=d02c4c246f25d527e2955ccdca985694 and it is working good. So if I were you, I would run to nerest electrician, and here if they can help you (don't get a new AC adaptor, it will not work right, I treied that first)
