I've began noticing posts by "new" members where the Forum is used to post spam, smut, etc. Can we do our research to determine the best way to keep this Forum about Pleo, and not allow SPAM? I hope Pleo owners are allowing their children to help them share their experiences with Pleo, and "our" children have enough problems without this family site becoming cluttered with SPAM.
As much as I detest "censorship", perhaps we can review the first few posts from new members, before publishing the comments.
I will be happy to assist.

Virginia, thank you for your suggestion. Cami and I are here as often as possible to remove the SPAM and take it very seriously. We ask that our members help by not replying to the SPAM until we can remove it.
Ugobe is working on a resolution for the problem. Thank you all for your patience.

When you see something that is obviously spam, report it using the small triangular icon to the upper right of each post.
I do this regularly on another board I frequent. I just send the word "Spam" as the message box that comes up when using the report function, and post "reported" as a reply to the spam post so people know it has been given to the attention of the board administrator.
Most of the spam being posted on boards that use this forum software are being posted by spambots and not a human so replying with anything more doesn't do any good anyway.
