Share those Pleo website URLs here, so we can visit you and your Pleos.

i have a blog but is in italian, sorry!

That's no problem for anyone living in Italy, so don't apologize. And with the help of an online free translator, I enjoyed my visit to your blog. :D

For those who do not know Italian, I thought the website addy below did a better job of translating Italian than the standard Babelfish translator:

http://www.online-translator.com/text.asp#tr_form

Submit a few sentences at a time, because it seems to have a smaller limit of how much it can translate than Babelfish. But it does a really good job, I think. I was able to understand quite a bit, with not too much head scratching.

Hey Amjoie -

I think there's already a thread for this...
http://forums.pleoworld.com/showthread.php?t=12

But just for kicks, here's my URL again...
--> Pleo HQ | http://pleohq.com (http://pleohq.com/?utm_source=pleoworld&adtype=pleoworld) <--

I doubt I'll be blogging about my personal Pleo, but I'll likely be adding photos to Flickr and videos to YouTube and links to del.icio.us which will all end up on my site automatically.

And here's a link if you want to view Pleo HQ in pseudo-Italian...

Hello,

I have my blog on <a href="http://www.robotsrule.com/pleo/blogger.html">Pleo</a> and Ugobe. I also have my <a href="http://www.robotsrule.com/html/pleo-pages.php">Pleo directory</a> with links to pages of Pleo videos, pictures, technical information, and retail outlets.

I think that thread is for temporary "sightings" like the reviews and that kind of thing. At least that is the way I understood it.

This thread is for permanent sites and blogs. Well, at least as permanent as anything is on the web. :)

And thank you for adding Pleo HQ.

I was hoping you would list your blog, here. I'm sure most everybody knows about it, right now. But come October, a lot of new people will need to know. Thanks!

Hi all, the Sightings thread is for listing any internet sighting you run across if you would all like to share your own blogs here too that would be fun :-) maybe you could even talk about keeping blogs and such:D

Yes, I had in mind a "members listing their own blogs and updates" type of thing (something more forum community oriented), whereas the other thread is for anyone to talk about anything they see new, regarding Pleo on the internet.

But if you ever want to take the posts from this thread and put them somewhere else as a general reorg of the forum, please feel free.

In fact, please do that with any of the threads I started. I'm sure you will be doing a reorg of the forum more than once, before it gets going strong in October.

I'm just having fun talking. You guys have to get things working and keep them working. So shuffle around any thread I started, or delete them or do whatever it takes to get the forum ready, before things get really hopping. It won't bother me one little bit. I'll happily enjoy the forum through any and all changes. :D

what do you think to ask Ugobe to build a page for Pleo on myspace? I think it's a good place to make him popular to non-robot lovers...

I have added a one page blurb about Pleo on my AMjoie Virtual Life website. It is only a pointer page, really, at this time (just a way for people to find out about Pleo, if they are already on my website). But it may be more after I get my pair of Pleos in October.

http://www.virtualpetz.net/

Either click on the picture when you scroll down the index page, or click the Pleo! in the index listing, or click on the navigation menu at the top of the page, on Pleo!

Pleo has a fan club group on Facebook already- for those of you that use Facebook. Just do a search for 'Pleo Appreciation' the group should pop up. Looks like they're primarily out of the UK.

Here's the link to my set of pleo pages. There's not much there yet, as I don't actually have a pleo yet (like, hey, none of us do!). So, all the pictures are compliments of PhotoShop (well, actually I use GIMP, but I doubt if anyone would know what that is...). But it's a place to gather all the cartoons I've done, and I have started a set of travel pictures with my pleo as we visited the great wall of china, the great pyramids and spent a couple of days on the beaches of Bora Bora!

Photos and comics are great!

I added links to both on my Pleo Photos & Videos (http://pleohq.com/photos-and-videos/) page. They're on the right side in the "Suggested Links" area.

I've added links to everyone, so far, on my Pleo web page. No particular order, but you're all there.

I'll try to add more, as they are posted here. :)

Long ago in the deep dark past of this forum there used to be a thread for all the fan sites... PleoWorldHostCami? Anyway, monkeymoo, I'm gonna add your site to the list of sites on my fan site! Can't wait to see all the pictures and videos. :)

And if you like your cows with a good sense of humor, you'll love Sandra Boynton's:

Remarkable Cows: http://www.sandraboynton.com/sboynton.com.data/Components/Music/Cows.mp3
(from her book/CD Philadelphia Chickens)

Cow Planet: http://www.sandraboynton.com/sboynton.com.data/Components/Music/5%20Cow%20Planet.mp3

And I loved the cow clips mweed, especially the first one. Everyone in my house had to come over to listen and were cracking up.

rofl! I love cows!

One of my favorite artists who is also apparently into cows is Dan Reynolds, who does the comic "Reynolds Unwrapped (http://www.reynoldsunwrapped.com/)" I would have to say that close to half his cartoons have a cow in them.

Hi junkroxy,

I moved your thread to the "Pleo Cafe>Share your Pleo website URL here!" thread.
http://forums.pleoworld.com/showthread.php?t=49

I thought more people would find your post if it was with the other posts sharing URL links to their Pleo pages. :)
