Hiya! I've been looking at purchasing a Pleo for a while now and found one for sale at $200.00. The owner says that it's in perfect condition except for teeth paint being chipped. Will I be able to reset Pleo so that I could experience the whole hatching phase and all that? I hope so, it sounds like fun.

Also, what accessories/things should come included with Pleo that I should make sure they don't forget to bring?

Thanks for your help!

The main things to bring are the pleo (duh!), the battery, and the charger. With those, you're set. There are other goodies too: the training leaf, the owner's manual, card w/ serial number, and the box. But those aren't critical. Ask if they have an extra USB cable or SD card for updating. These did not come with the pleo originally, but every owner should have one or both.

And ask to have the battery charged. Turn on you little guy and see what all he does. This way you can be sure it works properly.let it run for 15-30 minutes to make sure. I don't believe the warranty will not transfer, so it's "caveat emptor", what you see is what you get!

Thank you pleoWhisperer great response and to answer the other question, no you won't be able to reset Pleo to go through the hatching phase.

It looks like the owner is willing to let her Pleo go for $150.00 since I wont be able to experience the hatching phase. I just hope everything works out well. =P Thank you for the quick answers!

Oh noes! Received this email this morning from the Owner of the Pleo...

"I'm sorry, but I actually can't sell the Pleo right now. This morning I took Pleo out to charge the battery and get it ready for you and my daughter freaked out when I told her I was selling him. She started crying and saying "but I really love him!!" So now I can't sell it, I would feel too bad. Sorry for the inconvenience!!"

I wondered how anyone could have the heart to sell their Pleo. It's not like they are just a toy. This ladies daughter sure knows this.:)
Hope you can find another little dino soon..

Sorry to hear the deal fell through, but I have to agree with fancyfont. Why would anyone want to sell their pleo?
