hello everyone. i have a 2 year old very well behaved maltese. she currently does not have any friends.
if i bought a pleo to play with her for an hour a day, do u think this would be wise?
I think you will enjoy it more than the dog will. I think its a waste of money for the dog. JMHO

I would be most concerned about the dog biting and/or scratching at Pleo and tearing the skin. I would worry that most dogs would try to turn Pleo into a large chew toy. However I do agree with WGB that you would probably love having a Pleo around. :-)
Well, I have four dogs (Wow!) and quite frankly they get jelouse of my pleo, Ferny, but they enjoy galopping around him and sniffing him. Robots are confusing to dogs. Well my oldest dog lucy could care less, we could buy a white tiger and unless it attacked us she wouldn't even notice. Then there's Barley and I don't trust her alone with anything! Our newest pupppy,Mickey, is afraid of my pleo and even so, I have to watch him, he's little but he can carry arould the most random things. Last of all Lola, she's the only one who actually hangs around with Ferny. I'm sure it would be fine! But with what Cami said, just keep an eye on your pup!
