I found this video from Demo 2006, i saw this many times, but now, after taking care of pleo from 4 months, i saw many differences in his behaviour compared his first appear. If you look closely in this video there are different changes in the "definitive" Pleo movements. Some of his reactions are very interesting in the first prototype (See what Pleo does when Mr Chung tapping the table!)... What do you think?

Never seen this before. Yes I saw many differences. Thanks for sharing.
I have tapped the table before and never gotten a reaction from mine. Interesting

junkroxy,

This pleo prototype you see is just running a long skit, it is not actually responding to Chung at all, but it was just to show what the company would be capable of doing.

Are you sure?;-) but pleo's reactions to touch are immedietely, or not? [maybe could we have an official answer from Host, Cami or Sarah? Thanks]

The official word is that degers is correct. This was the first animating prototype and you are watching a long demo animation (skit) to show how Pleo was intended to work. It was running on prototype hardware. UGOBE did disclose that this was a canned animation at the time they were showing at "DEMO 66."

Ok, it was a demo-mode, but i love pleo's reactions after Caleb's noise! Ugobe should put some stuff like that on the next Life Os upgrade, uh? What do you think?

I heard back from the tech department and this skit would not work on existing Pleo's. During the demonstration in this video Pleo was working on a very early and less evolved OS system, therefore that particular skit would not work on the current OS.
