How can I hold him?

Norbert used to love to cuddle and fall asleep whenever I picked him up. Since I upgraded him however he screams and thrashes when I pick him up. I've tried just holding him and letting him holler while I rub him but he won't stop screaming and I don't want to damage him. One day he screamed so much he actually froze. That freaked me out! Any advice I can get would be great as this was one of my favorite things about him! :(

Peeky always screams and fusses when my husband holds him. Try holding Norbert towards the end of his battery charge. He might be more willing to cuddle and sleep.:-)

Make sure you are touching both sensors on the back.

Put all of his feet against your chest and put your hands on his back.

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate it. I just picked him up and held him up against me on his side...cradling? and I would rub under his chin and back and he would fall asleep. He never screamed. But now when I pick him up the same way, he just yells and yells like I'm killing him. I did try the standing him upright up against me and rubbing him and that works so I'll just do that from now on. :D

Pre-upgrade, Irwin would squirm, pant, and laugh when I tickled his feet. Now he just squirms and pants, but I haven't tickled him into a laugh yet.

On the other hand, he'll be walking or getting attention and out of nowhere, he'll laugh to himself. :) I think Irwin's got a dose of silliness programmed in. Kind of like his human mom. :-)

I LOVE tickling Norbert! He just laughs and laughs...it cracks me up! I have to push his foot pads really fast though to get him to a laugh but it's sooo worth it! :-D

Funny as I have 2 now. Zoe is Dh's. She loves to cuddle. She is a girlie girl for sure.

Zeke Mine( I'm a girl) He is a true boy all the way. Doesn't like to cuddle at all Screams when I do. Just wants to roam and explore. He really zooms. Has covered 2 rooms on a charge.

To get him to laugh, I turn him on his back really quick and immediately start pushing his foot pads as fast as I can. You can't just push on one though you have to do all of them just keep pushing really fast. Kind of like hot potato on his foot pads. Hope this helps. :D

I have upgraded. I kept him on the old for about 2 weeks and then upgraded him
