Pleo will not start when he has an SD card in him.

I am using a 1gb SD card, on a pleo with the 1.1 software. I have tried all the diffrent types of add-ons like pleosaurus and love struck and watchdog. what happens every time is that when i put the card in and start up pleo nothing happend, he wont wake up. but one i take out the card and start up its fine. PLEASE HELP!!!:-0

With out more information it sounds like either the behaviors aren't making it onto the SD card or that your SD card just isn't working with Pleo.

I remember reading some that Pleo had some difficulties with the larger memory sd cards could that be the problem?

I have successfully used up to a 2GB card. I know some to the higher capacity cards can use a different technology. I believe Ugobe said pleo could handle up to 2GB.

I know you know what's up with running SD cards in general so I think it might be useful for you to call up Support and diagnose things with them. Let them know exact specifics of the problem and that you are an experienced Pleo owner! I'm sure they'll figure it out with you.

What's on the card? Do you have only a behavior on the card, or is the 1.1 upgrade on there, too?

If the 1.1 upgrade is still on the card, you might want to delete that from the card and only have a Pleo behavior file on the card. Then see if it works for him.

When I put in a SD personality (clean disc, no folders, only one personality) my pleo never wakes up.

I've tried several brands and sizes of SD cards without success. Also, I had no luck upgrading the OS with a SD. I did however upgrade using a USB.

mahan - Did customer support resolve your issue? If so how?

Your Pleo should have LifeOS 1.1 to run personality download. Did you update your Pleo to LifeOS 1.1 before you inserted SD card with a personality? Please let us know. :)

GOT IT!
I must have the bad Kingston 1gb SD.

I formatted my Canon camera SD and copied the LoveStruck urf and my dd is now showered with kisses and purring.
