”Forums” are the topics you see when you are on the PleoWorld Forums main
page. Most Forums holds “Message Boards.” The Message boards hold the
various threads.
If you would like to start a new thread, open the message board you think is most
appropriate for the topic of your new thread. Please remember to check the forums
to see what topics are already covered before starting a new thread. It is much
easier for other members if there aren’t several threads discussing the same topic.
Once you’ve opened the message board you think is appropriate for your new
thread click on the “New Thread” button. Choose a “Title” for your thread and
type in your message. Once you have finished your post you can either “Submit
New Thread” or you can choose to “Preview Post” if you’d like to see how it will
look before submitting it.
If you see a post, or thread you feel is inappropriate, by all means feel free to
report it using the report button on the top of each post. This is the white triangle
outlined in red. Please don’t respond to inappropriate posts, just ignore them and
know that we will take care of it as quickly as we can. :D
When reading and posting try to remember that the written word is very easy to
misinterpret. Give your fellow members the benefit of the doubt when reading
their messages and try not to “read” something into their post that isn’t really there.
When posting remember that we have members of all ages. Please help us to
keep our younger members as safe as possible. Please do not give out any
information that might help someone find you offline, and please don’t ask others
for this information.
We also want our community to be as welcoming to all members, of any age, as
possible so let’s try to keep the topics and language appropriate. If you wouldn’t
scream it across a crowded restaurant or hear it in a Disney movie it is probably
not appropriate here either.
