Hi

Quick question, after an hour and a half of charging the battery has turned green, do I keep charging it for the full 4 hours or take it out now?

Hi Lexygirl :)

You should charge the battery for the recommended time. Try taking it out of the charger and reseating it. It should show red again, and continue charging.

my battery keeps flashing red its in the base correctly, but it is quite hot here at the moment about 80f maybe more. Help

If it's overheating, it should cool itself off then resume charging. It is safe to leave it in the charger. Or you can take it out and let it cool then reinsert it into the charger. :)
