Why not a Pleo on the moon?

Google's going to offer a prize for the first privately-funded team that can send a rover to the moon that will send back data, photos, and video, and travel 500 yards or more across the lunar surface.

OK, so let's see -- Pleos can transfer data via IR and they have a camera in their nose. I say we plug a Pleo via USB into a rover running Dino-Mite and have the first Pleo astronaut!

Just don't let Pleo graze on moon rocks. That'd be murder on his teeth. ;)

That's where the lunar rover running Dino-MITE comes in. Pleo can send images via USB and the lunar rover can take care of the 500-yard dash. :)
