I am currently awaiting the arrival of my Pleo, which I ordered on Sunday night.
Since then, I have been reading these forums extensively, and I have seen some of the issues that Pleo owners have run into.
So I thought I would start a thread specifically for the solutions that are approved by Ugobe. That will help owners not have to treasure-hunt through all the forums to find the answers.
For example, we have threads about torn skin and flaking paint on the teeth. Ugobe has offered some stopgap solutions, until such time as a Pleo Repair Kit is made available.
For the torn skin, a glue called Loctite was recommended.
Baby powder was recommended as a way to reduce friction and wear-and-tear to the skin.
There is a white paint that was specifically recommended for the teeth, but I have to go and track down the specific name/number of it.
