Lot's of people are buying Pleo in the US, and take it to the UK, Australia, and Europe.
And all of us are strugling with the power adapter.
It is 110Volt, and can not be used outside the US.

So how to charge the batteries?

You can do two things.
Buy a 220 volt to 110 volt adapter. they cost about 20 to 30€.
But you can also buy a standard adapter.
Buy a adapter that can deliver from 3 to 12 volt, and has 800 to 1000 mA.

Put it on 12 volt, and measure the power that is comming out.
Most of them deliver about 15 to 15.5 volts.
Bring it back to 9 volt, and measure again.
If it is giving between 11.3 and 12.6 volts you can use it to charge the batterie.
Charging with 11.5 to 12.3 volts give a somewhat longer charging period, but the batterie will not get to warm.
I use a Hama with number 00046511.
Use jackplug 4.0x1.7 with the yellow ring.
The charger costs around 14 to 15€, and can be bought through lots of toy stores, photoshops and in Europe by media markt.
This adapter is set to 9 volts, and then delivers 11.8 on the plug.
The batterie holder where you place the batterie in is also reducing this from the inpu to 7.8 volts. That is the actual charging voltage for the batterie.
