I JUST got my Pleo in the mail today. I was so excited. I opened everything up and was ready to charge my Pleo's battery when ...
"Where's the AC Adaptor?"

I called Tech Support and all they could say was "Well, it should come with it." yea, thanks guy.

Did this happen to anyone else? Did you open the box to find something else missing? I'm so upset =[

All I wanted to do was play with my Pleo!

Oh, and just to update:
The box was completely sealed and it didn't look like it had been tampered with. All I see it as is someone just so happened to forget to put an AC Adaptor in the box!

Well, it sounds like Cami is looking into it. :) But if you called customer support and explained to them that there wasn't one in the box, when we all know there should have been, didn't they offer any way to address the situation? Not even a "send it back"? Have you also notified where you bought the pleo from?

I got it off of eBay and the guy that I bought it from, bought it off of ToysRUs.com and I looked into it and ToyRUS.com doesn't even have Pleos! I have emailed the guy and he hasn't got back to me yet. I also talked to another guy from Ugobe and he said I'd have to buy a special bundle for a battery that supposedly comes with a AC Adaptor. Now I have to buy ANOTHER thing that should of came with my Pleo in the first place! This is some bull. I am so mad right now.

I didn't realize that you had purchased a second hand Pleo from EBay. Without an official receipt for first time purchase there may not be much that Customer Support can do. :(

I don't blame you at all for being mad at the person you purchased Pleo from! My suggestion is to keep trying to contact the person you purchased Pleo from. If they do not respond or don't have a solution to get you a charger than I would give this seller a bad rating and file a complaint with EBay directly. If you paid with PayPal you may also be able to file a complaint with them as well.

He yes, he has contacted me (he was in work!) and he feels terrible. He said he might send his AC Adaptor if he cannot find another one. He was extremely quick with the sending of the product and with his response. I won't give him a bad rating unless he refuses to help me with my problem. He seems really concerned, so I'm not so worried anymore.

But, if I have to buy another AC Adaptor, what would I have to purchase? I'm not positive he is going to send me a AC Adaptor, but I would like to know what I have to buy. Do I have to buy the $49 battery like the guy at customer service said? I really don't want to pay almost $50 for something that should of been included in my original purchase. Please can you direct me to what I can buy? Can I buy a similar AC Adaptor from another company that won't screw up my Pleo and his battery?

To my knowledge there is no other UGOBE approved battery charger. I would make sure the person you purchased Pleo from provides you with the charger that should have been in the box.

Kristennn, this seems a little fishy! Why would he send you his own AC adaptor? Surely this would make his Pleo useless???
