Just wanted to let you know that if you are planning to attend the Robogames VIP event this Friday, June 13th at Fort Mason in San Francisco (http://www.robogames.net), please visit the UGOBE table to say hello to members of the UGOBE technical team and get your questions answered about LifeOS and coding for Pleo.

As you know, Pleo features a significant number of motors & sensors that enable him/her to interact with its environment, learn over time, and develop an emotional connection with its owner. The vast majority of this functionality is available via an embedded Pawn (http://www.compuphase.com/pawn) interpreter with functions exposed that provide access to sensor input, playback of motions and sounds and many other features. The PDK tool set supports both Windows and Mac platforms.

In addition, UGOBE is currently inviting a limited number of developers to join the extended beta program for the PDK so please let us know if you are interested. Send an email to developer@ugobe.com to get more information.

Thank you,
Alll your friends at Ugobe

Hi Pisymbol,

I'm Chris, the new director of developer relations at Ugobe. My job is to formalize the SDK release and make sure that developers interested in working with Pleo are happy. Very soon we'll be launching a special developer's site with lots of information and updates for you. It's only my third day on board, so hang tight just a little longer -- I'll be contacting each of you very soon with announcements and information.

Many thanks and I look forward to working with you!
Chris
