Hi I just got my Pleo "Baby" he is a real cutie and all my co-workers were amazed by the entire experience of it!
Being a Dino a Robot and a life form!
I am a Mac user G4 duel processor and I want to start making skits but have run into the No Mac programs... I am not upgrading my Mac yet so I wondered if anyone out there is doing anything that can help me I want the watchdog and other 2 to put on my SD card.
Today I tried having a friend download and put all 3 on my card I then dumped them to a CD I put 1 back on SD card placed it in Pleo and turned it on but nothing.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Sheree : ):D

Believe it or not the chip was bad for the file we need for the Pleo only good for photos???
I tried another chip and it did the job my Pleo has the Lover, Watchdog and Holiday modes ready to add to his personality now!
Thanks for the help.
So my next thing will be to get skits made I have a G4 Mac so I might have to get a friend to work on this with me that has a PC! I would like to use Dinomite!;)

Thanks, My Pleo is doing GREAT- I made him a shirt out of a sleeve of an old flannel night shirt.
Now when he is touched his paint will not be damaged since it is so easy to have it peel off!
I can see a repair kit in the Pleo future, so owners can renew the colors or add their own choices!

as far as i know there aren't any apps for Mac OS, which sucks.
Anybody know if there are any plans to bring out Mac compatible versions of MySkit or Dino-MITE??

it's a little ironic for mweed to say something isn't a joke, because he is always the one telling the jokes! :-D but ya, WINE is a real software thing on the computer.:-)

Hi, just wanted to add to ''im a member of the Cult of Mac". So theres a few of us out there.
Have a G4, but now it has been made into a server since i got an intel Mac Mini.
For intel Macs try using parallels to install Windows XP/Vista to use MySkit or DinoMite
Can run Windows in a window or combine Windows and OSX on your desktop.
Have installed MySkit using this, but not tried DinoMite yet.

For PPC Macs try using VirtualPC. Never used it so dont know how effective it will be.
Not been blessed yet with a baby Pleo, but suspect on my anniversary (25 Nov). My wife will be getting me one!! (See been doing a lot of web search on the topic of Pleo!!!!!)

MySkits installs fine using parallels on an intel Mac. Having problems installing DinoMite tho? (if any one can help?) Need to look into it.
As still waiting for my "Surprise" Pleo Present of my wife. Its a bit on the back burner at moment.

I suppose, in theory, a MacBook user, having the dual core Intel chips, could install Parallels and WinXP to become a developer TODAY, but that solution STINKS. The best solution, of course, would be the creation of Mac tools for Pleo. It would be nice if one of the Ugobe folk could tell us if that was ever going to happen. I wonder if they even check the forums?
Right now my Plea is stuck under a table. She really likes rubbing up against stuff.

Watch out for her neck! Pleos going under things have been know to cause neck damage!
Also it rubs off there skin and even parts on the eye lid. Dont let mine near legs any more
