I don't own Pleo yet,but I was wondering about using the USB port versus the SD card port. I read that if you remove the SD card, your pleo returns to normal. When you update him via USB cable,how do you change him back to normal?

The difference is not so much between the USB and SD card but between whether you are doing a LifeOS update or just a "behavior." The update to the LifeOS can be done by either the USB or the SD card and changes Pleo's basic operating system.

Behaviors, such as LoveStruck and Holiday Pleo are put on an SD card and only run while the card is in Pleo. They do not alter the basic operating system.

Think of it as the difference between downloading and installing an update to your computer vs watching a DVD on your computer that only plays while it's in the drive.
