I've been thinking about our posters that haven't been posting lately and wish if you are reading the forum that you would occassionally keep in touch. Just a hi would do.:)

Pleoguy101, Amjoie is among the posters that I miss. There are quite a few, but I think of Bub, Misslion and Gatinhaboca quite a bit. Just wish if at all possible for people to say hi once in awhile.
I rarely write to friends and family members but I love writing here. It's like losing a friend when someone stops posting.

People come and go. This is quite normal with forums.
But what is also common with forums is that always one elite group remains and stays forever.
Don't worry about me.
As long as I have Pluriel (and my interests in Pleo) there is a very small chance that I would suddenly dissapear or turn into a lurker.
I love reading posts as wel as writting them, and having people reading mine and (perhaps) reply to them!
It's what keeps a forum going! :D

Well, according to the DBPA, only 12.74% of the members have logged in over the last 30 days (1,543 of 12,109). And yet, only 873 (of the total 12,000) members have EVER posted. Only 194 have posted ten or more times, and less than 40 have broken the 100 post milestone. The names you recognize represent the top 1% (or less) of the PleoWorld community. So, when one of us doesn't post for a few weeks, it's easy to spot. At the point Amjoie dropped out, she truly represented 15% of all the posts in the forum. Likewise, as pleoguy101 goes away for this weekend, the daily post count will noticeably drop. ;) If fancyfont lost her internet service, this place would be dead. (just teasing!)

But numbers aside, as pleoguy101 said, we come to know these people and look forward to "seeing" them in the forums. I've actually only physically met one person from the forums. But I think of a lot of you as friends, knowing that I will most likely never meet any of you. So, when names like roschler and cmadmacs (who haven't shown up in a month, yet both have logged in within the last few days) go missing, we stop and wonder "What's wrong? I hope he's O.K. Did we say something to offend?" Or kianajade (who's posted once since the end of January, but we know you're out there lurking . . . ), pleona, kchamster, LuBu, and others.

If you haven't posted in the last month, consider this your excuse to let us know how you're doing!

People who post a lot especially may grow tired of it, yet cannot leave the community and turns into a lurker.
It happens.
But I agree that it's nice to drop a post once and a while to say the least.
I do the same thing.
If I ever run out of posts here to comment on, I at least would post at casual places so that you guys know how I am doing.
I too, bond to a certain level with regular forum members.
This indeed is a small and close little club we got here, and I must admit that it would be weird to see you lot suddenly going away!

the problem with this kind of forum it's to keep the curiosity high. 2 years ago i started a board about furby and it was exciting at first, but now it's definitely dead... The members ARE the board, but the company or administrators should give more suggestions ;)

well, as pleowhisperer pointed out, many pleoworld members ARE losing interest, how should we get their attention?:) but to me the forums has become more than just about pleo, I have many friends here too:)

People will come and go as their schedules allow them to. But they know they are still a part of our Pleo family. Hopefully we will hear from them again. Maybe we need to have a family reunion one day and see if they'll join us.

Lately I've been in to reading and writing in the fourms. There are lots of things we all learn from posts and you feel like you know the people.
