Different home page

I'd love to see different animations on the home page (or maybe only in the discover section, with a "static" home page on the welcome). I love so much the japanese site of pleo, there are lots of animations if you look the "discover" page and you could choose different ones in pleo's description. :p

I find it annoying that every time I visit the home page, Pleo moans out of your speakers.
That's fun once, but gets annoying rather quickly.
Perhaps a "cookie" or something else so you can mute the volume for that video in question?
Because when you mute it and visit the site again, Pleo does his thing all over again! :D

I don't like that noise. It is good for people who want to hear what he sounds like but there should be a choice of if you want it on or off or a differnt picture. They makers of pleoworld should have it so that members could pick differnt pages to come up when you open it. For example when amember logs on to pleo world they could have it so that their plog comes up when they open the site.

I didn't even know about the speaker until recently. I had to watch all of the videos that were posted including the ABC Nightline Video with Pleo growling in the background .I didn't see the speaker icon.:eek:
I kept telling the Pleo on the main page to shush and he wouldn't:p

The sounds on the homapage are getting on my nerves, too. Always trying to mute quicker than it starts. ^^

Would be a real improvement, if it would be off by default and a little "Want sound?" next to the button, so anyone interested can switch it on.

Yeah I agree 100% Caahl! I hardly ever visit the homepage because of the sounds anymore but when I do I always rush to mute the flash movie before it starts! :( Ugobe change it please?

Back when I used dial-up from home, I never ever went to the home page, because the video took so long to load. Most web sites with a big file on the home page have a "skip intro" button to bypass big videos or flash apps.
