Hey Guys, no final venue confirmed yet, but who would be takers for a Pleo Meet in central London on Sat 14th June?

Moi, the first coffee! Never!! Lol ok, but you have to buy the second! Any other takers? It's a shame we can't do this in a pub :) But i think it's better if Havoc stays off the booze.

I wish I could be there. I've been wanting to go to London. If I wasn't so busy at work right now i'd try and do a weekend there to meet you guys.

Sephy is the Pleo that should have flight wings from the airlines. Sounds like both of you are frequent fliers. Have you carried her in your arms on board, yet? :)

Starfire, that would have been fantastic! It's sucvh a pity that you are busy, think of being able to entertain an international visitor! :)

I haven't been able to carry Sephy on board yet. i've always had to have my computer for work with me. That and my purse takes care of my two carryons:mad: But I have considered getting a bigger purse that would hold Sephy too.:D

I was wondering if you could answer me a quickie?
A guy (username MJC) supposedly from Chocolate Communications (www.chocolatecom.co.uk) made some posts a couple of hours ago. However they are now gone as are my replies.

Did these get taken down for privacy reasons or something similar?

I believe that the forum hosts took the threads down due to a privacy issue or something like that. I think the best thing to do is if you want to host something for Pleo owners to go to (especially if it's involving a company such as Chocolate Communications) who have been hired for Pleo PR is to contact Ugobe directly over the telephone and tell them this is legit and you would like to meet with pleo owners in the UK. I think this would clear things up. The hosts are always combing through posts getting rid of things like full names, e-mail addresses and locations. I can say I'm from Coventry, but I can't say what University I go to in Coventry for instance.
Your other option is to contact members directly using forum tools such as the e-mail or Private Message functions, but I would discourage this in favour of contacting Ugobe first.

Sorry guys, due to family circumstances I now have to go up to Liverpool for the weekend and so I will not be able to attend.

My exhaustive apolgies go out to Mark and anyone else who was going to attend.

No worries.....it was a shame about MJC willing to organise an official venue though1 If anyone is definately going to attend then please let MJC know in his post on UK pleo Meet up. Be quick though as he will only have a few days to get something organised.

I personally think it would be great if we could organise something say in August - that way we will have more time to organise and now we have official backing from the UK PR guys (who hinted at a surprise announcement if we managed to get people going!) perhaps we could get more interest going!

So if any UK owners out there WOULD like to meet up sometime at an offcial venue supported by a UK PR company for Pleo - please let MJC know or Degers or myself!
