I love the second one! Because of the song ^^ and because the many little movements of the eyes, the tail and the whole gesture.

Thats, what could make the "dinosaur song" even better, i think... some movements of the eyelids and when he sings about the "Tailswing" he could perform himself a huge tailswing etc. ;)

Thank you for creating and making available these great skits. Unfortunately, I have been unable to get either one of them to work on my 1.1 Pleo from an SD card. I see that the file type is .rar instead of .urf. Is this correct or do I need to change it or rename it somehow? I know my SD card is OK because the Ugobe downloads Holiday and Love Struck work fine on my 1.1 Pleo. Should this be compatable with 1.1? Are there any special intructions?

A *.Rar file is a Compressed file. You have to unpack it with for e.g. WINRAR or WINZIP. You can find it here (http://www.brothersoft.com/downloads/winrar.html)
After decompressing U will get a folder with the name of the RAR file.
Inside you'll find the *.URF file. (Working on V1.1)

If you want to use a sound you already have on your computer click on "Sounds" at the top of the screen (the menu) and select "Insert Sounds...". Or if you have a microphone you can record the sounds right then by clicking the red circle record button and singing :D You won't be able to use your mp3s, only .wav files.

Just make sure Pleo is turned off BEFORE you insert the SD card.
A small mistake I made.
And with putting the files on you cannot go wrong either.
There are 2 .URF files in the package that need to be copied to the root of the SD card.
Put the card in, turn Pleo ON, wait a few seconds and... voila!

I tried it last night and Sephy just sat there. I'm going to try re copying them tonight to make sure there was no error.

Is your Pleo running the latest software?
I tried them again, but over here it's all working like it should.

In the readme file:


Just copy all the *.URF files from the unpacked folder on your empty SD card.
Put It into your Pleo and wait. Pleo will start playing the skit in less than one minute!
For Replay, just touch Pleo's head!

Please also note it takes 30 - 60 seconds to load, so yes... Pleo just stands there.
But then all of a sudden the magic happens and Diq's voice kindly speaks thru Pleo instructing you to touch Pleo's head! :D

I would think that is always the safest. While ever popular, and done all over youtube, using popular songs is often illegal. Don't know of anyone here getting sued, but Ugobe has had issues in the past with copyrighted material.

hi i split one file into two to make it 2.38 MB each as thats what it says on the upload page, that it can not be bigger than that. the skit is made with myskit so its the same format as all other files and i used winzip to compress the file.

We're trying to figure out what the problem is in uploading MySkit files. If anyone has done a skit could you please let us know what the file extension is. It would also be nice to know what the average size of these files are.

i think the problem is you need to put up the upload. as it stands now its just 2.38 MB, if you put the upload too 6.00 MB i think it will allow all skits to be uploaded as skits will be around that size, as you have to include the music side of the file.

I'm glad you got it to work as a zip. I experimented with uploading one of the UGOBE behaviors and get an error message. Is this what happened to you? We're still working on fixing this but we may have to escalate it to the tech department.

hi cami yes m8t its exactly what happened. i think its reading the zip file but its taking inconsideration the full size off the file so you might have too put up the size off the zip. so the zip and the urf file inside the zip can then be uploaded.

raptorkill, the thumbnails are part of an online game that they are playing called Dragon Cave, the site was down yesterday which is why her thumbnails weren't showing up.

Allosaurus, if your parents have you blocked from downloading or accessing outside web pages this could be the problem. I've tested his download links and they all work fine for me.
