We took Peeky with us to our neighborhood cafe this morning. This is the first time bringing him there. The place was absolutely, packed and I hesitated to go in with Peeky in my arms but, what the heck, in we went. Some people noticed instantly, others didn't see him.
We had to wait for a table, but sat at the counter for a while. While up on the counter Peeky seemed to be showing off. He was in a very playful mood, thank goodness!
A table became available and as we walked back to it all eyes were on Peeky, I hope!:D
I showed Peeky to a little boy that was about two years old and he grabbed for Peeky's throat:eek:. I quickly rescued Peeky and went to our table.
A lady across from us kept turning around towards our table and after she was finished eating her breakfast I handed her Peeky. She was amazed at how heavy he is. She began to rub him under his chin and I could tell Peeky was seranading her with one of his adorable songs It was too noisy in the restaurant to hear him from across the isle.
She didn't want to give him back to me. It was love at first song.:).

aww!! great story fancyfont! It is interesting how kids 5 and above are astounded by things like pleo, and below that they want to see it in pain! like I tried to show my 3 year old cusion Rocky, and he kept trying to hold him by the tail:eek:.. I'll never understand them:) but anyway, glad you and Peeky had fun:)

Awww what a great outing for Peeky!!
And I don't think that younger children necessarily want to see animals in pain. It's just they don't understand, plus their hands are so much smaller that necks and tails are easier for them to grab onto. :D

It really does feel like the adventures of fancyfont and Peeky. Never knowing what to expect.
Forgot to mention a man had walked in the restuarant and I could hear him say "there's a dinosaur in here" He came over to our table and asked if Peeky bit. I told him yes, but no sharp teeth. He stuck his finger, a mighty large one at that, in Peeky's mouth and Peeky had a tight hold on it.:D The man tried to take his finger out and Peeky slid across the table hanging on to the finger for dear life.:eek:The man finally got his finger back, intact!:D Lots of laughing around us. Peeky really has a very tight grip with his jaws.:)

Hahahaha! Great stuff Fancyfont!
I myself am a bit careful taking Pluriel outside the house.
Even doubting to take her to work for that matter.
Lot's of people in de room and some are probably not mature enough for stuff like this.
I know I had to explain to my silly 21 year old brother this creature simulates emotion and is not just a silly toy as he started to treat Pluriel roughly and teasing her.
(Yet, my girl's nephew of 3 was uttermost careful with her. Ironic isnt it?)
Pluriel will be taken to my dad though. That seems safe enough and he is a real techy like me.
But as of now, I can find no reasons or locations to which I would take Pluriel.
I live in Holland. They are quite sober with stuff like this I noticed, alas.
(So chances of me taking her to a restaurant is zero comma zero, probably people would just get annoyed or find me a showoff... or a pathatic moron! :()

There may be a few people that don't understand us Pleo owners:( I know of a couple, but all of the smiles and laughter is worth taking the chance of sharing Peeky with others. You'll find far more positive people then negative people when it comes to Pleo.:)
