I also hereby like to thank Ugobe for bringing us such joy with this amazing new approach on robotics.
Sure AIBO's and the likes are cool, but they are not near as cuddly, cute and lifelike as Pleo.
Holland is still not fully warmed up to it and many if not all people I have to explain what Pleo is, but most of them do think my Pluriel is adorable!
I hope that in time the Netherlands will warm up too, as Pleo is such a special creature with amazing potential!

I too found the reaction to my Pleo here in Australia to be interesting, but when asked about the battery and I tell them extra ones are not available and it only lasts for an hour with a 4.5 hour recharge the interest quickly disappears.

pleo would bore you to death if it ran for longer than 2 hrs at a time... seriously.... at least now with its current OS.
