Hi friends, i have some news for you! Yesterday i was very sad cause i losted my mobile and i was very angry with myself. But a great gift from a friend in Germany changed my mood again! ;)

FOR PLEOGUY101, ROSCHLER, FANCYFONT, STARTFIRE, AND ALL OF YOU, I COULD SAY: YEAHHHH! HE'S FINALLY HERE!

I'm so happy to introduce here my little GLEN!:D

He's very smart and happy Pleo! He loves to play tug of war with my finger and be petted on his chin! I'm very happy with Glen and i could say again how Pleo it's amazing, unique and so different from any kind of robo-pet on the market! (since i'm a huge fan of furby i was sure for a success of another interactive pet created by Mr Chung, eh eh!)

Sorry if i don't have more words now, but you know how i love Pleo and i was waiting for him! My friend knows this too and he decide to stop my waiting!
I'll update my experiences here :)

A little Update about my Glen: He's currently working with the new 1.1. I played with him 2 times and i think i love the new update. He seems to be more quiet on the sofa! And react to claps, noise and voice much better :)

I spent more time with Glen and i noticed some different things... Sometimes he won't sing his songs when i scratch his chin, and as many of you have noticed, he won't play tug of war!:( This is the only point i don't like in the Life Os 1.1. Before the update Pleo was able to understand if you put your finger or the leaf in his/her mouth, now seems doesn't know when to play or eat:cool:

In 1.0.2 there was a higher probability that he would play tug-o-war than eat. In 1.1 there is a higher probability that he will eat than play tug-o-war.
The only sensor in the mouth is an IR interrupt sensor, which will only detect if any object that is not see-through interripts the beam.

yes, you're right degers! but before the update i was able to play tug of war with Glen using my finger, i don't use the leaf often to prevent chipped teeth;) I'm happy that now i can use my finger to feed Glen, but i hope that he will be able to play tug of war more often:D

I'm in love with Glen and i love all that beautiful fluid movements Ugobe has implemented in the new Os 1.1. The teeth are totally white now, thanks God. But his eyelids are slighly chipped, like all the pleo owners here :( Maybe this week end i'll go in a model-kit shop for a paint solution. I can avoid the warranty, cos i'm not in the US and my Pleo is an american one (bought from eBay) and it was shipped in Germany. :)

My only doubt is what material are the eyelids exactly. Do you think is "pure" plastic or something like resin? I'm confused for that transparent colour...

Yeah, I agree with you. I would like Pleo to play tug-o-war more than he does in the 1.1. I prefered the 1.0.2 behaviours or the mouth sensor.

mine too! today my Glen was scared and i talk to him and i've petted him... he's adorable, in the new Life Os i love that he's able to knows if he's on my blanket or on the carpet:D He's quiet still when i play with him on my bed!

Hey Junkroxy - Congratulations and welcome to Glen. Glad you finally got him. That first picture you posted of him for the postcard is waayyyy cool. When I first looked at it I thought you'd gotten a different color pleo and I was jealous or maybe envious is a better description.:confused:

Fancyfont, that's happenend to me too! I try to play with Glen with excessive care, i'm scared to break his tail, neck or legs :(

After one week i could say i'm lucky enough to have a like brand new pleo. The paint didn't came off from the skin (i usually "pat" him on the shoulder, back, head and chin), the teeth are in perfect shape (if you want it too DON'T PLAY TUG OF WAR WITH THE LEAF! USE YOUR FINGER ONLY OR YOUR SOCKS), only wears appears on his eyelids, but i think i'll waiting to touch them and repaint. Anyway I think the best is to repaint them with acrylic colours. :)

I changed the "collar" with a cotton bracelet to prevent tears on the skin! i think metal it's not a good idea for his neck!:rolleyes:
I bought the medal on eBay with a cheap price! :)

I got one of the coated rubber bands for hair that was a little thicker and it works perfect for putting Sephys tag on her. I was able to get a colored one to boot.
