Snort had his first public appearance when I took him out the other night to the pet shop. We went shopping for shirts, and came back with a couple, one of which has proven too small. We'll get to make a return visit to take that back. The other looks good though, very classy, and Snort felt like he just had to show off to Scooba! ;)

While at the store, one young girl came up to ask me what it was I was carrying. I told her it was my pet baby dinosaur and she commented that it was a very nice stuffed animal. I set Snort on the floor and turned him on. Out of sheer luck, he looked right at her first thing. She bellowed "MOM! MOM!" and her mother came tearing around the corner from the other aisle as if someone was kidnapping her child. She pulled up short and they both stood staring at Snort as he looked around and started hooting and panting. I explained how to pet him, and they got right into it. Pretty soon one of the employees came along and a little crowd gathered to watch. It was quite fun! Answered a few questions then off we went. All in all, a successful shopping trip...
