Amazon.com mixup

I just checked my standard link to pleo at Amazon.com to answer another post. Up came the standard picture of pleo. But oddly remeniscent of Target's screw-up, the price is down to $280! But the title calls out little green gy a "Torpedo - Digital Game Projector, by Senario (http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&search-alias=toys-and-games&field-brandtextbin=Senario)". I double-checked the link ;

This is because Pleo is being sold by different people on Amazon. So if you type in 'Pleo' you might get HighDef Lifestyle's price, or Scenario's price, or something else. Refresh the page and check again, you'll get something else. If you click on Pleo, just check on the side panel called More Buying Prices, and it will show you each distributor with their prices.

I was confused by this also; everytime I checked amazon.com before I bought Dougie, the price changed! I just realized they just randomized it. =)

Yeah, the associate tag is in the link. That's the link I always use.

BUT, the title of the page (which has now been corrected back to being PLEO) was listing the product name as a "Torpedo - Digital Game Projector". And back when Target screwed up and put Pleo on clearance, they had the product name as PLEO, but the page was showing the picture of . . . a game projector!

LOL.. Pleo would be the funniest camera I've ever seen.. I can see it now.. someone's picking pleo up by his tail, holding upside down, yelling "HOW DO YOU WORK THIS THING!!" trying to take a picture :D

And I guess the tail acts as the boom for the cameraman standing behind you?

Either that, or when you are taking photos solo the tail acts as a counter-balance for additional stability, it cancels out the weight of the head so the pleo-cam is perfectly balanced for shoulder-mounted shooting.
