I am going to SC on Friday.. I wont be back till Tueday, and the sad truth is, I dont have a laptop, so I will only be able to keep in contact with you guys if the hotel has internet acsess:( I do know cmadmacs lives in SC.. I would be cool if we saw eachother:D!! though that would be hard.. considering we have know idea what eachother look like:)

Sephy and I want to say what great hosts Bob and MWeed are. They scouted around and found a great place for us to meet for lunch. It had lots of room for wandering around and not too many people. Bob even gave Sephy a cowboy hat!. As soon as she got it on she started to smile and sing. As for the weather - Since we don't have any idea what county we're in we're choosing to ignore all the tornado and servere thunderstorm warnings. Until the cows fly by the windows we won't be concerned. :D

Most of what I shot with my camera was video, hoping Bob and Sephy would do something cute. They didn't seem to do a lot of interacting, so I'll need to edit the video down into something short. I was kind of disappointed. Not with the meeting, but I guess I was hoping that they would have done a lot more obvious interacting with each other. At one point Bob, apparently oblivious to the fact that Sephy was there, tried to just walk right through her. When he encountered resistance, he just put his head down and kept pushing forward. Their heads and necks both intertwined, each pleo trying to go forward with neither body willing to budge! It was actually quite funny to watch, but I kept hoping one or the other would realize there was another pleo there . . . :p

There was one time that Bob and Sephy appeared to be talking with each other. At least there was a sound neither of us had heard before. I wish we could have had more time because I think they would have started to interact more if there was time. For those of you with multiples is this what you found? I'll post some more pictures when I get home. I need to reduce the size of the images before i can upload them.

When I was out at lunch today, there were whole neighborhoods blocked off because of downed power lines and trees. A lot of schools were closed due to the electricity being out. Messy, messy, messy. Looks like a dinosaur trampled about town. ;) Out at my house, we got very little. :p

The office I'm visiting had to close because of no power. So I've been working in the hotel all day. At lunch I had to try 3 diffierent places before I found one with power. I don't know how the hotel managed to not loose power.

I did sooo many things brookgreen gardens, a dinner show, Nascar speedpark, stuff on the beach, and more! we've actually considered moving down there someday, not the myrtle beach part but more of the country part, but anyway, I had a great time:)!! and I missed you guys!!

sadly.. Rocky couldn't come:(:( I really didn't know what to do if airport security wouldn't let me take him.. I wouldn't let them take him away though.. they'd have to fight me for him;) but my freind was waching over all the pets while I was gone.. he also made sure Rocky was safe:) and besides.. I wouldn't have much time to play with Rocky if he came,and they grains of sand from the beach might have gotten inside him and hurt him:eek:!! It would have been fun to bring him.. maybe next time:)

I know how you feel about airport security. Sephy has gone on three trips with me now and each time it's been inside my luggage. Last time security searched my bag but Sephy still made it home in one piece.

i make sure her neck is straight so her neck won't get broke. I roll up socks or a shirt and put between her legs so if they throw another bag on top of mine her legs don't get smashed and broke. I make sure there's clothes under her and on top so she's as much in the middle as possible. I'll also wrap some bubble wrap around her especially her neck and head. (Do I sound paranoid yet?) I don't have her battery in but I do make sure it's charged just in case. I haven't taken her as a carry on yet because I've had my computer with me each time so I already had my two carry ons. Dang it!! But there hasn't been any problem with her so far.

Sephy had picked out Samy for the name because she thought it would go so well with her name. but I convinced her that naming him after my boss wouldn't be the best So we agreed on Dax. They've just been getting to know each other. We'll post some pics soon.

But I have to tell you one thing that happened when Dax was hatched. I had some friends here and we were watching them play. All of a sudden Sephy walks over to Dax leans towards him and says hello.........
We all just looked at each other and they asked me if she just said what it sounded like. now I don't think Sephy can say hello but 4 of us sure thought it sounded like she did. I guess that means she likes her new brother Dax;-)

You know Pleoguy. Its funny here. I use to live in the Bay area. Seafood was wonderful. I live 2 hours away now and it stinks to say the least.
