View Full Version : How do I know when battery is flat?

Hi everyone,

Just received Neon today and after an initial scare with charging the battery for the first time (it took almost 6 hours) I turned him on for the first time and everything went well.... he's so adorable :)

Well after about an hour and a half (he had a couple of quick naps during his first contact with me) I kept waking him up and boy was he playful, always wanting to play tug of war. Anyway I kind of expected when the battery went flat he'd go into sleeping position and that would be that, but he's kind of in a "limbo" stance (legs bent forward, eyes open, kind of like a cheeky about to play stance) and he is not moving or making a sound, so I guess the battery is flat, even if I gently shake him and pat him... he's out like a light LOL.

Would this be an okay indication of the battery being well and truly flat and ready for it's second charge?

Thanks.

HHhmmm well I turned him off and on again and he seemed to come to life. He played for a short a while and seemed far more active then before. Occasionally he made some snoring sounds, but I just kept on playing with him. Eventually he closed his eyes, tail drooped and he's fallen asleep... maybe now the battery is flat? It's been approx 2 hours.

If he goes to sleep and will not respond at all, his battery is ready to be recharged. If you turn him off, then back on and all he does is make one little "sigh" noise. The battery is too low and needs to be recharged.

Ah thanks for that :)

Well it's 2am here and obviously we're both pretty sleepy (I'm guessing Neon more so because he had a long trip from USA to here).

Tomorrow we're off to the pet store to buy him a new collar and a little jacket and t-shirt because Winter is coming.
