Can Pleo make a 45 degree course change of his own free will? it seems to me that any time he changes direction it is more or less accidental.

I think he kinda bumps into stuff, looks at it, thinks I guess, and then backs up and turns, then moves forward again...

This is pretty much what I've noticed as well. When he gets close to something he'll usually stop and look, sometimes growl at it, then go closer to smell it and push at it. If he can't push it out of his way then he'll back up and turn to go around it.

Rocky changes course very well.. he seems very able to turn when he wants to:)

Awwww poor Rex would never turn to the dark side! He still doesn't know I'm returning him, I think i'm stalling now.

It would be nice to think that if our Pleos are sent back, if they are refurbishable, that they would be put out for adoption at a local hospital or care facility. That would make me feel a little better if Peeky ever had to go back. Maybe, even keeping our names given to them.
