Hi fubf444,
Sorry you are having problems. Unfortunately the PleoWorldHosts don't have that information. Your best bet is to contact Customer Support and talk to them. :D

Fubf444,
The blinking red light was indicating that the charger knew that the battery was too hot. When the light flashes in this way it means the charger has stopped charging the battery and is waiting for it to cool down before it continues to charge. I don't think you need a new battery.

I had the same problem with the red blinking light. I have onIy had my Pleo since June 6,2008. In total I have charged it 3 times. Each time after 2 hours of charging the red light starts to blink. It will blink for 10-15 minutes then go solid red again. With in 5-10 minutes it goes green. I then have a full hour play time with my Pleo. The charger never took the 3-4 hours that the manual says it takes to deliver a full charge. The last charge I timed. 2 hours exactly til it started to blink, then 15 minutes of blinking, after that straight to green. The battery was very warm when I removed it from its charging station. I waited til it was completely cool before I used it in my Pleo.
I called UGOBE customer support and was told that the problem I was having is a known issue with the charger unit. They will be sending me a new one once they have more in stock. All I will have to do after I receive the new one ,is mail in the one I have now back to them. Hopefully I have better luck when I get the new unit.

This used to happen to me a lot. I think its actually the fact that the battery is over heated. Try taking it off the cradle for a stretch and put it back on for a while. The batteries ar emade to stay on the cradle for long periods of time, but they arent perfect.
