I put none of the above.. I really l like horses.. but a bit to messy for me now:) pleos a pet you dont need to clean up after, I already have a dog, and ever since November of 2006.. I've loved pleo and wanted one ever since.. maybe it was october.. not sure:) and I finally got to pre order one last June!! as many others did:) what I'm saying is.. I wouldn't trade my little Rocky for anything!! not even 10 pleos!!

From what5 I can see is that all Pleos are exactly the same, so I would give up my Pleo and get 10 more, they would all be the same as the one I had given up so I wouldn't be loosing out :), harsh, i know, but true.

some may dissagree, but pleos are pretty much the same.. for now, UGOBE promised an OS upgrade wich wil allow pleoo to develop it's own personality, plus learn over time.:)

Well, you could always back up the personality from your one pleo, swap it for the ten, then load the personality into one of the ten . . . :rolleyes:

As far as being able to have a pet, this is not an option for many people due to certain circumstances. I for one, would love to have a horse. Always wanted one since I was a little girl. Took lessons in riding. After every lesson I had a hard time breathing. It turned out that I'm very allergic to certain animals. Horses are at the top of the list. It's the pits!:( I love animals!:)
Just think, now, even if you can't have a live pet, you can have a companion that is so close to being alive.
Pleo is a remarkable little invention.:)
I have worked with Peeky for many hours and I do see small changes in his personality. Yes, he really does have one!;) He always makes me laugh.
Having only the one Pleo, I can't compare him to others. I can, honestly, say, I would not trade him in for ten other Pleos at this time.

I practicaly live for horses (yes I am a guy) and I would love to have one someday.
So I voted "Horse" on one condition: trading Pleo and my current life for being able to have a life where a horse actually fits in.
Because a horse itself is usually not the problem and that's what makes Pleo so cool.
Pleo can stay in the house and doesn't need endless time and "maintenance" like a horse does.
Ok, so I cannot ride my Pleo. But that is not a problem for me! ;)

The only thing I would trade my Pleo for would be High end movie making equipment and software. Cause I love to make movies! :D And I mean equipment that would cost thousands of dollars. Which no one would want to trade that much equipment for a baby dino. So I guess I'm keeping my Pleo! :D

I like making movies too! i made a seires called "the killer cat" i guess it got around becuase TONS of people are making them now, what goes around comes around, and what comes around goes around. I also made a ninja video , it was a spoof , with my friend angela, and my brother (hes a football player) as our stunt double, its really funny! :-)

and now i have mastered it! my brother also makes movies, but he has an expensive software (it cost like $2000 or something) called "Vegas" its the same software they use in many movies, including starwars.So he can do all this stuff like making look like your shooting lightning bolts out of your hand, and LOADS of other stuff, but its very hard to learn...*sniff*...oh well, whatever.:D

I wouldn't swap Dasko for anything else. If I had wanted something else I would have got something else. I have a dog (I did have two but now I just have one), and could have a cat if I wanted - I probably couldn't manage a horse though, but my cousin has one so I have access to one in theory if I wanted ! And my mum has a cat so...

Dasko wasn't a pet alternative, he was a choice made on his own merits (if that makes sense).

Australian Shepherds are gorgeous, but my heart is with these dogs, the humble German Shepherd Dog (you'd never guess from my screen name, lol.)
The elder one is Bindi, my ten year old boy who I lost to cancer a couple of months ago. The puppy looking one in the grass is Jalen, my five year old, who is now much bigger but still looks about the same. Still got those massive ears !

its a very stupid reason. He got tired of putting them in the barn every night and complained a lot, and then my mom got sick of it and didnt want anything to do with it. then he sold them. Sometimes hes really nice and sometimes hes mean and i almost hate him. I'm sorry i shouldnt have said that. :blush:

Hmmm I can't really answer yet since I don't have my Pleo yet...

But I can say that I have had a horse and although they are fantastic animals and riding is the best thing ever, they do require a huge amount of work and money to look after properly. There's the food bills, vet bills, farrier bills, equipment, maintenance of equipment, various medical things like worming, paddock maintenance, stabling and so on... Then theres is the work involved, on a daily basis you must groom, exercise, feed, muck out stables, check over paddocks, clean equipment etc. You have to be 100% dedicated to own a horse. I remember the time I saved and saved to buy this absolutely stunning rug for my Stormy and as soon as he had it on he went a rolled in the mud then scratched along the fence and tore it :P but then I also remember our first ride together up in the bush, it was magical :)

I also own a dog, *pokes avvy* Isn't he beautiful :), and he requires feeding, worming, de-fleaing, shots, vet bills if he gets sick, registering, grooming, cleaning up after, exercising and kenneling if I go away. Of course in return he is a loyal, loving, wonderful pet, as long as I don't go out of his sight (He howls) and as long as there's no other dogs around (Then he ignores me completely) :)

I have a cat as well, a beautiful fluffy ragdoll who also requires feeding, worming, de-fleaing, shots, vet bills, registering, grooming, clipping, cleaning up after, and put into a cattery if I go away. On the other hand when he feels like it he gives me lots of love and affection and great big suffocating mouthfuls of hair when he is moulting :P

I also have two birds but fortunately they are comparatively low maintenance :)

As you can see every pet has its pros and cons. Pleo too. Pleo has to have his battery charged and can break down, but then you don't have to buy food for one or exercise it either, and Pleo won't sulk if you go away...
