A 'First Hatch" is a special designation Ugobe gave to the first 2,000 ples ordered back in June. They were also supposedly the first shipped. They came with gold ID cards instead of green ones. There is no difference in the pleo itself.

My Pleo hatched too, but his card was a normal green card. That is normal, isn't it? Or is "first hatch" just a title?

Yes "First Hatch" is a special title that was given to the first 2000 Pleo's pre-ordered from UGOBE.

thats weird, Mweed, macon is a 1st hatch and he didnt come with a gold card.

All First Hatch Pleos should have come with the gold card. First Hatch Pleos were only available to those who were on UGOBE's mailing list even before Pleo was in production and they were given a special code to use to order Pleo. Only the first 2,000 got a First Hatch.
