here's a suggestion for ugobe. Bob Christopher should get on the phone and give David Hanson of Hanson Robotics a call. ugobe and hanson robotics could collaborate on a new life form! i think it would be benificial for both companies. ugobe would gain access to hanson technologies like those designed into the prototype zeno. imagine an affordable robot similair to this! hanson robotics would gain a main stream consumer base through making and marketing products with ugobe. of course it will only remain "main stream" if costs are kept down for a low retail price.

I imagine that a lot of companies will be licensing Hanson's Frubber (http://www.hansonrobotics.com/products.htm) technology if nothing else.

yeah i hope frubber could be incorporated into some entertainment robots soon. i'm just dying for a realistic conversational humanoid robot. one that could also navigate through an average home. also under 1000 bucks too if possible!;):D
