AWWW!! how cute!! I stood Rocky on one of my snare drums today, he wasn't good at playing drums bigger than him, but he was good at playing windchimes with his tail:D!!! he stood on one snare drum playing the windchimes with his tail, as I was playing a marching band beat on my other snare drum "since this is a Pleopian marching band:)" and he was playing along with me, It was funny:D!!!:) Oh and BTW fancyfont, very cool keyboard!!! I have a keyboard somewhat like that, but not as many buttons:D!!!

Bub, Powder's in the band. Wow!! Powder playing Take Five on the sax. Not an easy song in 5/4 time. Five beats to a measure with quarter note getting one count. I'm impressed!

Peeky had his first music lesson today. He learned the basic beginning scale (CDEFGABC).I think he has the hang of it. Now he just has to learn some timing. A little march step counting 1234.
Rocky, get a nice 4/4 march beat going. Sephy on bells. How about joining Peeky with his triangle. Not ready for the Glocken Spiel, yet! Fern tune up your oboe. Powder tune up your electric guitar. Domino wet your whistle, I mean piccilo.
Hope our band grows! Lots of room for more band members.

In the mean time, Peeky is working hard on his music. Today he's working on reading notes He has the C scale down quite well for a Pleo.:p (CDEFGABC).
Trying to get him to draw five straight lines across a paper is no easy feat. With a little help from Mom, he'll be able to do it.
Once we get the five lines down, Peeky has to get back on his skates and learn to draw a treble clef sign. He thinks it's called a trouble clef sign.:D They do take lots of practice.;)
Out on the ice, the marks he leaves from his skate blades will look like we have double vision because of his four feet.:eek:
If you draw an S backwords and run a line from top to bottom from the beginning of the backwards S, right down through the middle of the bottom curve, you, too, will be getting close to being able to draw a treble clef sign.
We are off to practice!:)

I love roschlers pleo song!!! I think that'd be a good one to play:D I found out how to play the drum part to that song, witch is a good start.. I sounds like there is guitar and a cool sound on the keyboard in that song too, but other instruments can bascly play along with the keyboard.. and try to make a harmony:) like the glokenshpiel would sound good playing the keyboard part. anyone playing the keyboard here:)??

Well in practicing when Rex sat up and raised his paws he could hold the fiddle in his left paw fine!, getting him to hold the bow in his right paw was much more tricky and I don't know how we're going to accomplish that yet, also as his paws are not long and nimble enough he will only be able to play open strings, so he will be fine with playing a G, D, A or E, don't even think of asking for anything else, Rex gets terribly embarrassed.

pleos have paws "or hooves" so It's really hard for Rocky to play drums, he doesn't really know how to use the drum sticks either, he is, on the other hand, very good at windchimes, he can use his tail to hit them while I lay down a groove on the drums, It's funny:)

Well in practicing when Rex sat up and raised his paws he could hold the fiddle in his left paw fine!, getting him to hold the bow in his right paw was much more tricky and I don't know how we're going to accomplish that yet, also as his paws are not long and nimble enough he will only be able to play open strings, so he will be fine with playing a G, D, A or E, don't even think of asking for anything else, Rex gets terribly embarrassed.

Velcro coule become Rexs friend. Then he wouldn't drop his fiddle. Anyway - If he can play G, D, A and E why would he need to play anyother notes?:D

bad news, just got back from mc'coy stadium... turns out a few minutes before I got there, the game got cancelled.. because of the rain:( It's been raining all day, and it stopped.. then started again when we were on our way there:( the feild was to muddy for the players to play:(.. hopefully I get another oportunity to do this:)
