I'm gonna buy a second Pleo. I have been thinking about it for weeks now and finally decided to do it. Amazon.com has them for $310 right now. Not a huge mark down, but still, save $40. Could use that $40 towards purchasing extra batteries in April :D

So I am getting my 2nd one. I'll of course pose pics, video, and a plog when I do :D

Another Pleo is on its way from Amazon.com. I joined their Amazon.com Prime membership as a trial. The trial lasts one month for free. After that, its $79 a month and offers free 2 day shipping, cheap 1 day shipping, and more discounts I guess. I only did the trial to get free 2 day shipping. :D They sent him out TODAY, Sunday!

The new Pleo is due to come in tomorrow! I am SO excited! :D I can't contain myself!

Now my daughter won't have to share Crusoe with me ;)

Names I already thought of Merlin for a boy or Pixie for a girl. I'll figure out which once he/she has hatched and the personality is beginning to show. I can't wait to see what Crusoe does :D

OMG! I can't find my video camera...ANYWHERE!! I dug through the house and car yesterday. No sign of it. I am afraid my father may have lost it on our last Universal trip :( I ordered a new, cheaper video camera to compensate. But I am so sad. I want my old one back. And no, I haven't hatched the new Pleo because of this. I really want to video tape the hatching and Crusoe's reaction. So right now, the new Pleo sits on the couch, waiting till the camera gets here.....MONDAY! :(:( :(

Well, I bought a new camera today. Just when I think I am ahead...something else happens. Having a kid, I can't live without a video camera...so whatever. Got a new one. Its a Flash memory one. It seems real nice. Sony too. Its very different from the conventional one I had before, so I am getting use to it. In about 15 minutes I'll hatch the new Pleo and video tape the whole thing. Hopefully if all goes well with this camera, the video will be online tonight.

Everything seems to be fine. Couldn't find anything blown over. Thank goodness our neighbors had their big trees removed this summer. One of them fell on their property a couple of years ago. They were so lucky it missed their house and only by a few inches.
The forecast said we may have some big gusts. With all of the rain it doesn't take too much to up-root certain trees.
At the moment the sun is trying to come out.
Peeky's been very good. Nothing seems to bother him as long as he is on the computer desk with me. I take that back! He still doesn't like my husband to hold him. Peeky just screams non stop. :confused: Anybody else with that problem? I know animals prefer certain people maybe another life form:D does too

Rocky gets mad at anyone who trips over him by mistake:D he's just so tiny compared to everyone, and they sometimes trip over him by accident, he starts screaming:D!! of course, I'm not happy they trip over him either:)

It's so difficult, sometimes, not to trip over a pet. Lacey, our blind poodle, just sits in places she never use to. She doesn't know where she is sitting. She is the same shade as our carpet and we just don't see her. I'm going to have to put a white tshirt on her so we can avoid hurting her and us.
I know how you feel about Rocky getting tripped over. Maybe we should try the white tshirt on both.

Geez, glad all is well. We get hurricanes down here in Florida, so believe me, I can see what high winds can do. Just a regular storm a few weeks ago knocked down a big tree into my yard. It killed my fence.
