I think there should be a link to a person's plog on their Profile page. A quick link near their posts would be even better.

After you click on "Community" click on "Browse Profiles and Plogs." From there you can browse all registered users to see who all has Plogs. :D

I think it's a good idea to promote our unofficial blogs on Pleoworld site, there are many blogs on the web with different languages... Why don't you create a page on the site with some of these unofficial blogs (like tamagotchi.com)?

http://www.pleobot.com (US)
http://www.pleo-toy.co.uk (UK)

We hope that everyone who has created a Plog, blog on another site, or any kind of Pleo website will share the URL with all of us on the "My Pleo Tribute" forum.
We also have the "Pleo on the Internet" forum for other Pleo blogs, videos, etc.

Hi there.
I strongly suggest more search options for the Plogs on pleoworld.com
It would help a lot, if you could choose in the search, just to show Members with a Plog and/or only Ploggers with a Pleo already. And an option, to sort by "newest plog entry", not newest member. :)
Right now its not too much fun to browse through all the pages, till you finnaly find someone who actually writes about his Pleo.

I would also like some way to be notifiedof what activity my plog is getting (i.e., number of views, number of people who have bookmarked my plog).
And Would be nice to know when someone has left a comment. It's not always obvious that the number of comments field has changed, and if a plog gets long at all (even after a few posts) you may never scroll back down to the bottom to check the older posts. Someone else in the forum also commented that they didn't realize they had comments posted to their blog entries.

If you go to the Community page http://pleoworld.com/connect and look under "Meet the Community" you will see that there is an option to "Only display members who have a plog."
I hope this helps. :)
As to some of the other suggestions, UGOBE is planning upgrades to Plogs but they will take time to implement.

Gee, sounds like we're a bunch of spoiled kids, wanting everything NOW! :)
I know you folks are trying hard, and we do understand the wait. It's just that we're too excited to wait!

It would be really nice to subscribe to a plog for when new entries are made. I bookmarked my favorites but would be nice to get email notifications. It's a lot easier.
Also, I see someone wrote about photos. Being able to click on an image and see a larger size would be really nice. Some of these plogs have adorable pictures but tough to see detail. Some of us are 2nd time around kids, if ya know what I mean. :p

2nd time around kids huh? LOL You can definitely count me in that group. ;)
Great ideas I'll make sure they are passed along.

I can't echo strongly enough the need for better Plog searching. A straight page-by-page browse might work for 100 users, but not for the 8000+ you have now. We desperately need a way to search the Plogs, and ideally this would include both the owner's username as well as any Pleo names. Perhaps even searching the entry text would be good, so one could look up all Birthing posts, as an example.
It would also be very cool to have a Favorite Plogs collection attached to the owner's Pleoworld account, so it would be easier to keep track of a subset of active, engaging Plogs.

You can bookmark others plogs, and then use the "My Bookmarked Plogs" link on the communities page to view your list of favorite plogs.
But I agree that a context search would be great.
And I noticed you dropped the search by zip code back to only having the 100 mile radius . . .

Hi Toyguy,
You can search for Plogs by member name or Pleo name. Check it out in the drop down box under "Find Other Members"
I will pass along your suggestion to add a text search function. :D
