My daughter was playing with Leo and the the neck just starting swinging freely from left to right. She handles this thing like fine china.

I have a vid up of her crying but was mad when I posted it. Its all good now and Leo will be going to the hospital soon.

Samantha, I feel so bad about Leo's neck. I know it has to be so sad. I get tears in my eyes thinking about it. If that happened to Peeky, I would be upset too.
I would imagine that there are thousands of Pleo's around and eventually some will have a problem. I would like to think that in some cases they can be fixed. Perhaps UGOBE has a tech. that can repair Leo's neck.

I do not recommend this item to anyone planning on giving to a child because you are setting yourself up for an eventual let down.

This might help in seeing the possible cause of the neck issue with Leo.The bad thing a technician at UGOBE will have to repair it . UGOBE is great at responding to the customer needs.http://www.ifixit.com/Parts/stream/7/large/20-2.jpg

Someone posted on my youtube that this is caused buy Pleos being held upside down by its neck. Im trying to picture what they mean exactly but know Leo has never been picked up by the neck or head. This just happened when he was walking. He had been looking left and right and the head just fell over to one side.

sorry to hear bout Leos neck.. I feel very bad:( but dont all pleos neck wobble when there being moved around?

A month or so ago someone else posted that their pleo had one of the wires in the neck come loose and that they fixed it by cutting a slit in the skin and re-attaching the wire. (This would void your warranty. Better off letting Ugobe fix it) So it is a repairable problem.

No the head is suppose to move left and right, like when he looks left or right. Now it just flops to one side or the other.

We are getting her another one for her birthday that she had requested and already named Jake. Im going to get that one ordered and shipped first so she will have Jake to keep her company while Leo is in the hospital.

I have to say I was mad when I posted this but I a representative contacted me and Leo will be going to the hospital in a few days.

I have to apologize for my comments. I should have contacted Ugobe first but I was upset that Samantha was upset.

Anyway I spoke with Kurt and could not be more pleased. Kirk contacted me and they are going to fix Leo up and Samantha is already aware that he is going ot have new skin ;). I had a 2 year replacement plan through Sharper Image so Kurt did not have to do this but wanted Leo back to see what was going on so that shows they are genuine in their actions. I feel much better about my purchase knowing that kind of support is there so I had no problem ordering another Pleo, who Samantha has already named Jake. Of course her first concern was how am I going to tell them apart so its time to accessorize.

SOOOO glad UGOBE will fix up your daughters pleo:) they are such a kind understanding company.. unlike most companys:) does UGOBE do repairs on wear and tear? and teeth chipping? I am going to get the testors paint marker for my pleos teeth but if I make a mistake on pleos teeth I would be DEVASTATED!!! I'm not a proffesinal dentist you know;)

I was actually concerned about the wear on the back but actually liked it. I dont care for the chipping teeth or the paint on the eyelids coming off but I think those are easier to touch up so not a big issue to me.

skin wear isn't much a concern for me either, I just hope I dont mess up when fixing pleo's teeth:D

The pen works pretty easily. Just keep a damp washcloth or paper town handy. Start at the top of the teeth and let the paint flow down the sides. For me, they hard part was getting pleo to open wide . . . :p

I know exactly how you feel my poor baby kumal broke while walking and he has to be sent back to the purchaser. I rang up ugobe and they said that they had no replacement and suggested to ring the people I brought him from. Luckily I explain the situation and they are going to collect kumal on monday so I am hoping it will be sorted soon.

:( i feel so bad for you! - crys - sounds so sad! poor leo i hope he is fixed! TAKE IT TO THE PLEO HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM! he cant breathe barely now! :( i feel so bad for you i hope he gets better and i hope he has a miracle and you do too! good luck leo and samantha and your daughter :(
