I don't think pleo could run longer because....

When he is running there is a big drain on the battery? Mine will easliy run over 1 hour, but think around 2 would be tops. When the battery is running in Pleo, it is getting very warm indeed. When the battery is flat just feel how hot it is?

I could not imagine Pleo running for hours without either shutting down due to battery overheating or burning out.

Anyone who wants Pleo to run longer, due to the heat the battery builds up. I don't think it's possible, well not in one go anyway at least.

Hi there. My Pleo battery heats very quickly, so after 45 minutes play, I leave it on the laminate floor for an hour to cool down, then after that I charge it for 2 hours. It's a weird system, but it worked for me before the charger base shut down!

P.S. I think I blew my charger base with an adaptor that has higher voltage than the base charger has.:):)

Yep his Battery gets hot here to on average he can last for about 1-2 hours and his charge time is only about 2.20. I find that if his stomping around he wears him self out in an hour but if you can get him to nap or give him a cuddle his Battery will last a bit longer.

It takes so much logner for his battery to charge then his battery lasts!

Hmm, so after charging the battery, leave it for a few minutes to cool down, let the heat go off, will Pleo function better, that it "sleeps" lesser?

Valkerie I believe what you are referring too is PLEO narcolepsy . This should be addressed in the next Pleo update hopefully soon. This statement is from UGOBE " This will be an incremental functionality tweak that addresses some things you have heard about from us like Pleo's "narcolepsy" and some improvements to Pleo's drives, sounds and so forth."

I think Pleo can safely be on the length of his battery life, then give him a half hour-hour to cool down before putting an extra battery in him. So long as his insides get a rest and cool down, I don't see why we can't use a couple of extra batteries in him during the day. Like I said, he needs time to cool though. When I get the extra batteries, I'll be sure I give him time between.
