As odd as it may sound, Thank You Ugobe, for this latest delay!

I admint I would love to have my Pleo home with me today if were possible, but the delay does allow me to shuffle the money around to get my "other" toy that is coming out in the next few weeks, an Eee PC.

I just hope the two of them can talk to each other (it's linux), so that they can becomre close friends!

She thinks we could never afford one (which would normally be the case),
but I ordered it back in June and she has no idea.
I've saved the money in my account and made SURE not to touch it all these months.
She watches the videos all the time.
She told me she would ask Santa for one "just in case" he can afford it.

I am so extremely excited for her to open it on Christmas. So this is the best present for me!

I was very happy yesterday when I received an Email saying that Pleo arrived in store. I bought mine on store opening. I'm waiting with impatience battery charging.

I hope there will be many software adds-on.

I had problems with my first Pleo. After about 2 hours of operation he just never opened his eyes or mouth again. Ugobe customer service responded within 24 hours (on a Sunday, no less) of my email through their website and said a tech guy would get back to me. 48 hours later no tech guy and the problem hadn't cleared so I emailed again. Got a call from Kurt within 1/2 hour which really surprised me since it was already around 7:30 in California. They got me a RMA number and I sent my original Pleo back on Wednesday with a tracking number that said it wouldn't get to Idaho (that's where returns go) until Friday. Then on Thursday I got an email saying my replacement had already shipped! So, I wound up getting my replacement about the time they were getting the original!

Great customer support guys!

My new Pleo has only been "online" for about a half hour so you'll have to watch my own plog to see if I come up with any more problems. This started out as a frustrating experience but has really ended on a high note and I really appreciate all the efforts of everyone involved.
