My first batch pleo failed. I returned it on warranty.
My new pleo is a different color (belly is brown... old one looked exactly like the box, almost a yellow belly.
The new one makes a couple sounds we don't remember the old one making. It seems quieter motor wise, AND, it moves quite noticeably faster. The tail flicks instead of gently wagging.. not to say it doesn't gently wag when called for.

Its not just my perception. I checked the christmas video, compared head to head, it is surely faster and seemingly more complex .. if not just a little bit. It is measurable. This one is some 70000 serial numbers higher than the old one...

Just a fun FYI, that seems to be a fact.

Something that worries me a little. the battery only charged for about 1 hour. Hopefully its just because its "straight from the factory" and had some sort of initial charge in it and not because it is a bum battery.

When I received a replacement battery, that one only charged for an hour as well the first time. After that, it has charged the normal 2-3 hours.
