Eventhough Peek-A-Boo is a non first hatch, he would love to become a part of Pleopia. He really seems gifted in music. Maybe he could be a musician of the court.

I am dumbfounded and confused completely! I am a brand new member of this Forum. This is my second day with my Pleo. His name is Mr. T-Rexo. All of this sounds really interesting but I am clueless as to what to do. I understand that I do have a first hatch Pleo, but I am confused as to what that makes my Pleo. I know he won't be considered upperclass in Pleopia.

I want to be a part of Pleopia but I need someone to help me figure all this stuff out. This is really complicated stuff. lol:confused:

Bob is glad to be a part of Pleopia and will do his best as a member of the House of Lords and as a royal knight, but for the most part, Bob plans to live a quite life at his modest castle, avoiding politics and tending to his garden and enjoying his friends. :)

It has come to our attention that Lord Starfire and Lord Sephy are actually Lady Starfire and Lady Sephy. So we have not only existing Lords, but also existing Ladies! This happy circumstance allows us to emphasize that in Pleopia, a fiefdom can just as easily belong to a Lady as to a Lord.

I have made corrections in this thread to state both "Lord" and "Lady" where applicable, but if I missed a spot, just read "Lord" to also mean "Lord and Lady."

Thank you for the recognition. Lady Sephy and I look forward to building our fiefdom and showing how the gentler sex can also take care of those in their domain.

Open letter to Ugobe concerning Planet Pleo:

I am amjoie, and I am speaking for myself alone. I speak for no others.

I know that you have the best of intentions, and I know you are trying to make things fun for us. I have backed everything you, as a company, have done. I have been one of your biggest fans. I love my Pleo, and I love your company.

But we are now at an impasse concerning one thing. And I cannot and will not accept it. On this one thing I must be inflexible.

I tried at first to play along with your scenario. I even posted a request that "the good goddess" would change the continent location for us. But asking for a goddess to do something on my behalf stuck in my throat and galled me. I had to go back and edit my post, to stop my stomach from turning.

Now I am telling you that I cannot and will not role-play in a world that is ruled by goddesses, whether good or evil. I do not worship a goddess in my own life. I had King Teddy and Queen Sally crowned at the feet of a Lion King for a reason. And that Lion King does not quiver at the name of an evil goddess; nor is he powerless to defend himself against any power an evil goddess can bring to bear. It would not take a good goddess to keep King Teddy and Queen Sally's Kingdom safe. They are already protected.

I cannot ask you to change a whole company, just for me. So if something has to give, in an impasse ... it won't be Ugobe, will it.

Because of this, I, amjoie, am forced to leave Pleopia.

With great sadness, King Teddy and Queen Sally are quietly retreating to their Bedroom Kingdom, a place where they are free to depend on the Lion King to protect them, when they cannot protect themselves. A place where no goddess dares to go.

The Pleopia I envisioned was a beautiful Kingdom, Ugobe, still in the throes of creation. A benevolent Kingdom of peace, beauty, fairness, equality, ideal climate, and an abundance that did not stifle initiative. A Kingdom where love and wisdom would reign. A Kingdom ruled by kindness. But it was stillborn. And now it is gone.

I leave you to a different kind of Pleopia -- one ruled by your dual goddesses, and shaped by your map. I don't know how its inhabitants will fare, without their King and Queen. But that can no longer be my concern, because it is no longer our land.

Fare well, inhabitants of Pleopia. I cared about you. I will miss you all ... :(

Don't worry pleoguy101, I'm sure amjoie isn't leaving the forums forever. You should instead be glad to know that you can count among your friends people of conviction who are willing to act on their faith and stand up for what the believe.

And keep in mind, Pleo Planet is still in the design phase. Hopefully if enough people want change, Pleo Planet can be changed into something that everyone can be happy with.

I personally like the Pleopia we started to create: a modern day kingdom based on the parliamentary system. Pleos are magical enough that we don't need to turn Pleopia or Pleo Planet into another typical fantasy world of magic and dragons ruled over by made up gods or goddesses.

How do the rest of you out there feel?
