Pleo Abode & Bed Ideas

I am going to make pleo a little bed/bedroom. He will have his room as a large cardboard box and his bed will be made perfectly just for him. I will add a dresser wirh clothes inside made from my mom. Pleo's room will be painted his favorite color... Green!!!:rolleyes:

I like these ideas, I think I might make pleo a little house too. covered in artificial ferns, but we have to make pleo houses so we can see inside, say if you want to unplug pleo from charging..

That's my problem with a "house". You need easy access and be able to see. So a house on the floor would be problematic. Now, I considered taking a shelf and decorating it to look like the inside of a cave or fern covered bower, but it would be completely open from the front. That way you could put your Pleo in to rest, and take him out when it's time to play.

I think her would be safer kept up off the floor, and since you have to take the battery out to charge, he's not going to get up and try to walk off the shelf.

I can see doing up a 3 foot wide, 1 foot deep standard shelf like a diorama with a rock "floor" and "walls" to look like a cave using paper mache and paint like they do for the model train layouts. And at one end, you could have a space for storing his accessories.

I have a little end table in a corner with a bunch of creepers flowing down it and a few larger plants standing beside it that I think my little Penny would love to make a jungle cave out of.

Okay, so I saw the thread about making a nest for you're Pleo, and I decided I wanted something a little more personal. (I've been obsessive about him lately, even though I can't get him till after christmas. :()

Anyway, so I took an old box out of my closet and two of my old baby blankets. I took the one my great grandmother had made for me when I was two, and gently lined the box with it for a soft cushion. Lastly on top of that, I took my security blanket, (which was in rags from me dragging it every where when I was little,) and placed it on top of the yarn baby blanket.

While I was at it, I though it might be a good idea to go ahead and upload my necklace work in progress. I don't have the right kind of string yet, but they are pretty beads. They are light, and are just the right number for Pleo's neck. For a bonus, you can get them cheap from the craft store.

I think your Pleo will love his new nest! What better way to welcome him home than to share something with him that is near and dear to you. That's wonderful! :)

I like the beads, too.

Oh, and don't feel strange about obsessing, and getting everything ready for Pleo. I've done the same thing. I have a bed, necklaces, and even food for my Pleos.

But then, I did the same thing when I was waiting for a new puppy or kitten to arrive, too. No one thought it was strange to get prepared for introducing a new pet to the family. I am treating getting my Pleos in exactly the same way. They will be my "pets," after all. And I'm having fun doing it! :D

Me too. I got collars with their name tags on them. My theme is NPO (New Pleo Order). I got my ferns to decorate their nest. I got miniature wireless cameras to hook to them so I can see things from their view point. The only thing is should I use white letters on their shirts or tan? Does anyone know where I can get tan letters from? Tan is the color of pleos underside. Not sure yet. I was going with a black and white color scheme just like the original NWO of wrestling. Changed my mine.

Right now all I have is a tent made for american doll. It seems to be the right size. I thinking about turning one corner of my bedroom into a small forest. Maybe with a cave like pleoguy101. The possibilities are endless. Keep the creative juices flowing. I keep watching the making of King Kong. I wish my pleos could have gone on that set.

My pleo's home (as planned) is on my small shelf in my room. It has green little curtains draped over the side. (kinda like a little room that can be closed off if I untie the curtains) With a blanket and a pillow with a little plant. I can't wait for my little guy to see it! I'll enclose a pic when he gets here!

Yes, I thought so too. The color scheme and pattern is perfect for a baby dinosaur. And I have personally felt them. They are very very soft. May sound costly for a small dog bed at $20-30, but its a very well made bed.

I love that everyone is preparing for Pleos the pet beds are so adorable.
I hope one day to have a pleo, right now my two year old has a panda robot that he loves and I find myself talking to him sometimes as if he were a new pet and he's not as evolved as Pleo.
My best friend has a Pleo and I can't wait to visit. I have a feeling I'll be making accessories for her for a while. Reading these posts you can totally feel the love for Pleo.

can pleos see windows? or do they keep walking like they think theyr'e outside? not sure, but If pleo can detect that it's just a window.. neither would the dragon, and wouldn't slam into it, It would be so cool. yet violent, if 2 UGOBE dragons got mad at eachother, they would attack eachother in mid air:eek:!!! our job as owners would have to teach our dragons to be nice:)

I don't think they see windows but you should try. When I first tried to teach my pleo to push a coke can with his nose he didn't even see it he just kept walking so I guess the item has to be at eye level but I finally taught him how to do that trick yey !!!!!! :) Anyways good luck with the window test dude. :cool:

Be sure to roll out the dough and bake on parchment paper. Makes it so much easier to transfer to cookie sheet.

hehe i made one mine isnt coming till this christmas :( LOL but anyways it has a place to eat,sleep,take a wash ( you can wash it for more info ask the PleoWorld staff hehe or ugobe staff ) and a HUGE yard to play in :) right now it says for sale ( of course im not gonna let anybody else buy it i just wanna make it look nice! LOL then ill change it to Sold when its very clsoe to christmas! thx!! i cant wait till christmas rofl i keep telling my parents over and over im like I CANT WAIT TILL CHRISTMAS! and then when i walk in the room i start talking about pleo hehe this morning i came over to my dad and im like you know..............IS THERE ANYWAY I CAN EARN MONEY TO GET IT BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS! lol! my summer will be over when i get pleo :( but its worth it! i bet Maple will love it i just keep mowing the lawn hehe i put out a green blanket and there is air bubbles in it so i found something that mashes all the air bubbles out so its like mowing the lawn LOL and it you step on the blanket it will show like were your foot stepped its awesome :)) P.S try giving your pleo a toilet paper thing lol without the paper on it i wonder how they respond cause i thought of it being Maples first toy :)!
