So while we wait.. some Pleo Trivia...

Did you know that Pleo's skin weighs about 10 ounces?

With Pleo's skin off Pleo's motors and gears are much noisier.

Pleo tends to trip without his skin as his ankles can flex much easier.

Pleo has "dentures", in the video you can see me remove them.

Pleo's legs are held in by 3 screws each.

Pleo separates in the middle of his torso, 6 screws hold that joint together.

More to come....

Hey, your eyelid paint is coming off as well. Strange that they should paint it rather than adding color to the plastic compound used to make the eyelid. They took a short cut. perhaps too many. though the eye ball is great. I like the coloring. Your pic shows this well.

I don't know why UGOBE painted all of Pleo's plastics, even Pleo's dentures are painted. If you notice Pleo's lower jaw, spine, tail and feet are all colored plastic.

Remember, Pleo will remember that you operated him...

Bonez was anesthesised while the operation took place, his power switch was in the "0" position at all times. I have only freed the silicon within. Bonez is actually happier, free of his constraining skin, as you can see in the video.

I agree, I don't understand why they paint the eyelids (the color of Pleo plastic feets is perfect for the eyelids!)

THE VIDEO IS VERY INTERESTING, ARE U WORKIN FOR A PART 2?

Since the previous two videos have proven to be so popular we have decided to make a series. Starting with this weekend's episode "Bonez and his Thorocotomy", we will shoot a weekly episode and detail each piece of the Pleo dinosaur. So far we have discovered 1 of Pleo's 6 processors. I have also heard rumblings of a replacement battery pack for Pleo that can make him run twice as long! Stay tuned for more updates.

Yay! Bonez still works. Yet even if I could do that and know that my Pleo would still work if I did that, I still wouldn't do that, GREAT VID! 10/10!

I would have guessed that Pleo would be better at movements and walking without skin.

Isn't it possible to have one large scar (seam) down his back then no skin at all?
