Bladestar looks like it is pretty easy to control. I know someone who flies radio controlled helicopters and those took forever for him to learn to control. This thing seemed pretty stable. It would be great for chasing the cats around, except anything with spinning blades is going to be hazardous if it comes in contact with skin or eyes. Cool gadget, but I think I'll stick with PLEO!!!

I'm more into cuddling robotics. Hence Pleo ;)

They've been getting better, but I'm still not a big fan of Wowee.

I would LOVE to get any one of the little RC flying helicopter (or helicopter-like) items that are on sale.

Unfortunately, the ones I've seen in person don't appear to be cat-proof enough to survive long in my house, the more's the pity. The Pair of Resident Felines would surely dub it "The Best Toy Ever", but my fear is that they'd also turn it into an ex-helicopter in the process.

This item looks REALLY neat. Too bad it would need at least nine lives per cat to get through the first day here. ;) Someday, I trust there will be RC pet-safe flying thingies for sale. But we probably have to wait a bit longer.
