Hey everyone,

Engadget, one of the top gadget sites on the Internet, just had a face to face with our favorite baby dino:

On that post they also have a gallery of new fantastic Pleo photos:

My favorite quote:

Well we finally got a little face time with this sensor-laden blast from the past, and we're happy to report that the frustrating delays our Jurassic pal has suffered seem to be well worth it, as the model we saw behaved and performed almost flawlessly.

Hey everyone,

Engadget, one of the top gadget sites on the Internet, just had a face to face with our favorite baby dino ...

Did you happen to notice, in that article, that they said Pleo was dropping November 1?

WalMart and Target still say October 15. Amazon and Best Buy say November 1. The Ugobe site still says October.

PleoHosts, could we have some clarification on the expected release date for First Hatch Pleos, and for the expected release date of the other Pleos ordered from Ugobe, and the expected release date of Pleos in stores?

If there is to be a small delay (realistically, we are only talking about a couple weeks, here) I would really like to know as soon as possible, so I can get my expectations in line. The closer it gets to October, the tougher it is going to be for me to wait even a few extra days. So if there is a possibility of a delay, please tell us now rather than later. Thanks!

For some reason I love the picture of the guy holding Pleo by the tail.

Liked the page. Not much detail, and it's a shame most of the photos were out of focus. The comments were intriguing. But obviously not true pleo fans! They are right about one thing, though: when pleo finally does hit the streets, we'll see plenty of videos on YouTube. And, yes, as I've posted before, pleo *does* come in purple (for those who have PhotoShop). ;)

There is currently no change in the shipping dates for items ordered from UGOBE, but retailers will be shipping 1st Novermber. We can't guarantee that this will not change, but for now the schedule is unchanged.

Please note that this answer and other ordering answers may be found at:
